Rotary Jazz Night 2024
On Saturday 26th October Rotary held its annual Jazz Night at the Knights Templar School. Once again Apex Jazz Band entertained a full house for this popular event.
During the interval a fish and chip supper was served by Rotarians followed by an ice cream dessert.
A raffle took place with many lovely prizes. The proceeds from that and the evening will be given to to Motor Neurone Disease Association and other Rotary supported good causes.
The evening was arranged by Rotarian Keith Britter and Rotarian Carol Britter, and supported by her team of Rotarians.We thank everyone who came along for coming and supporting our Rotary Club. Thanks to the Apex Jazz Band for playing excellent music interspersed with Peter Chapmans jokes.

New member Fred Heginbotham was inducted by President Keith. Fred was member in Cape Town before coming back to England. Warmly welcomed to our Club

Today we had a very interesting talk by Phillippa Parker about George Bernard Shaw, his wife, and friends they had in Hertfordshire. President Gary presented Phillippa with a cheque for £250 for her charity Beds and Herts Historical Churches Trust.
