District Governor Visit and Presentation of Paul Harris Fellowship Award

At our meeting on Wednesday 1st November we welcomed our District Governor Barbara Middleton to our Club lunch. Barbara gave an interesting short talk on who she is and what District is doing at the present moment, and it's future.

After her talk Rotarian John Street said a few words about Paul Harris, founder of Rotary. President Keith then went on to describe the historyof a member of our club. Much to his surprise Rotarian Dennis Rusted was asked to step forward to receive a Paul Harris Fellowship Award presented by District Governor Barbara Middleton. The award was presented to Dennis for his services to the club namely Attendance Officer, booking all the club lunches each week for several decades.

Congratulations was givern to Dennis by club members in the normal way
