4th Annual Wheelchair Challenge at Bedford International Athletic Stadium

The 4th Annual Wheelchair Challenge is run by a group of Rotary Clubs from Beds and Herts.The event is to raise much needed funds for Whizz-Kidz, WheelPower, Herts Sport & Wellbeing Foundation and Sport Bedford


Welcome to the 4th Annual Wheelchair Challenge

Since it started in 2012 the event raised £14,800, this year we are planning to raise even more. The beneficiaries of the money so far are shown below



The ethos of the Rotary Wheelchair Challenge is to continue to keep alive the legacy of the 2012 Paralympics by focusing on helping disabled children and young adults to benefit from mobility and sport. All of these organisation support disabled children and young adults with disabilities from initial mobility to local sport and perhaps to becoming future paralympians.

You can help by giving your time/support in 2015

  Sunday 11th October - 10.00am start

Bedford International Athletic Stadium MK41 9SB

Entry fee per team of 4

Adults £20 in advance (£25.00 on the day)

Aged 13-18 £10.00 (if no adults in team)

Individual Challenge 1 lap x 400 mtrs   £5 per entry

Workplace Challenge - £50 per team (paid in advance)

Please download the poster and advertise the event in your area but better still get a team together, get as many people to sponsor you as you can and come and have some fun
