Young Chef Competition

The Young Chef competition is for 11 - 17 year olds and Anna won the club round before going on to compete against other young chefs from around our District. They have to prepare a 3 course meal for no more than £18.00 and present it for the the judges to taste and comment on. The woinner of this heat then goes on to the National finals.

Christmas Tree Festival

Our 15th Christmas Tree Festival was a great success and we thank everyone who supported us. Here are a few of the trees that were entered. We will display the winners soon.

Extension of Rotary.

Janet spent a week helping with a group of disabled adults at Calvert Trust near Keswick.

Congratulations to our winners in the adult section. It was lovely to see a great variety of trees. 1st Place - Serenade Ladies Choir 2nd Place - Canine Partners 3rd Place - Rainbows Hospice For Children and Young Adults
