A Very Merry Rotary Christmas

17th December 2025 | Rotary's Christmas Celebrations at The John White Golf Club

The Rotary Club of Rushden hosted a wonderful Christmas Celebration on December 17th at John White Golf Club combining good food, great company, and festive entertainment. Some 60 Members, partners and guests gathered for a heartwarming evening, enjoying delicious seasonal dishes while celebrating the spirit of the holidays.

Club President Anton Rudgalvis gave us all an interesting and amusing insight into the origins of The Christmas Cake and proceeded to tell us what the Rotary Club of Rushden Christmas Cake might look like (if only he could bake it!). The evening concluded with a local Sharnbrook trio, The Brookettes, who sang a variety of songs from the 40’s up to the present day. What a night – and thank you to the Rotary lady dancers.....you know who you are!
