Our Impact Group was formed in July 2025 to offer an alternative to the traditional Rotary model of membership. Impact Group members are Rotarians who prefer to focus on the “service” aspect of rotary membership and for whom regular attendance at meetings with meals does not suit their lifestyle and commitments.
Our theme for the 2026/27 Rotary Year is "Think Local" and most of our fundraising and events will be raising money for Cando Care, Rushden Museum and Rushden Historical Transport Society.
Our group meets in person when needed or online and we keep in regular contact via WhatsApp and email. All decisions are made democratically, and all group members have the opportunity to share their ideas and talents.
Being a member of the Impact Group also allows you to join in as much of the main club’s activities as you would like but just be involved in 3-4 community-based projects and fundraising events each year.
Committee Members are: Angela Capper (Lead), Joan Bathurst and Angela White
