Environment Committee

Protecting the Environment

As Rotarians, we are in a privileged position to be aware of environmental issues arising locally and in the surrounding areas that affect nature, wildlife and ultimately our planet. In the first instance, the environment we live in is of vital impotance to that end.

With this in mind, we continue to develop ideas and projects that will protect our local environment for future generations. We support projects run by local Wildlife Trusts BCN, Community Gardens and have projects within local schools that further the work of educationalists on protecting the envirponment, wildlife and food sources.

How do we do this?

We are people from all walks of life who use their ideas and networks to gain funding, influence change policy making and planning.

If you are someone who is keen to make a positive change, come and join us.
