50/50 Auction

What a day! Rotarian Mike Neville did a superb job, with his gavel in hand, keeping the bidding going and ensuring the majority of the 183 items for sale found new homes.

Despite the incessant rain all morning, those that braved the weather all helped to make a profit of £969.90 which will be split evenly between three local charities: Cando Care, Rushden Museum and Rushden Historical Transport Society.

The Impact Group would like to sincerely thank the staff of the Goods Shed for providing the venue free of charge and Rotarians, friends and members of the local community who supported the event in so many ways. Thank you also to local businesses for providing donations to sell: Fallon Aesthetics, Wilson Browne Solicitors, Hollis Butchers and Waterstones and to Rushden Graphics for donating the advertising banners.

Look out for a similar event in the future!
