BASIC EDUCATION CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION (BECE) ANALYSIS 2023

Dear Trustee,

I am writing to report and analyze the results of the BECE exam 2023, which showed a very positive outcome. As you are aware, the BECE exam is a key assessment tool for students in Sierra Leone, and I am pleased to inform you that the results this year were exceptional. The average scores were higher than ever before, and the number of students who achieved high marks was also very impressive.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support of our school and our students. Without your help, these results would not have been possible.

I would also like to highlight the role of our teachers in achieving these impressive results. They have worked tirelessly to prepare our students for the BECE, and their dedication has paid off. I am confident that our students have been well-equipped to succeed in their future endeavors, thanks to the efforts of our teachers.

We are grateful for the support of our parents and guardians as well. They have played an important role in ensuring that our students are able to focus on their studies and achieve their full potential.

It is also worth noting that we did not have any students who failed the BECE exam this year. This is a testament to the hard work of our students and the dedication of our teachers. We are committed to ensuring that every student is given the opportunity to succeed, and we are proud that we have achieved this goal.

I am confident that we will continue to build on this success in the future, and we look forward to working with you to help our students achieve even greater things. Thank you for your continued support.

Now the results in detail (where the lower the score, the better the result - and to note: Private Schools in the City are happy with anything below 20, but for rural, tribal children these scores are unheard of!!)

One student score aggregate 13, two score aggregate 14, five score aggregate 15, nine score aggregate 16, four score aggregate 17, eight score aggregate 18, one score aggregate 19, seven score aggregate 20, six score 21, six score aggregate 22 six score aggregate 23, two score aggregate 24, one score aggregate 26 and one score aggregate 27 six absentees total 67.

I thank you all.

Best regards, Morlai m. koroma   Acting Principal.
