Club Walk

Fri, May 26th 2023 at 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Nick Banham will be leading a countryside walk around Little and Great Brington. Assemble at The Saracens Head, Little Brington. Afterwards you can have a luncheon at the pub.

Our previous attempt at a walk in the Bringtons failed because of the weather. However several met at The Saracens Head for lunch and suggested a re-run on 26th May.
The proposal is: meet from 10.00 in the car park at The Saracens to be ready to leave at 10.30. Be prepared to pre-order your food before departure. The link to the menu is https://thesaracensatbrington.co.uk/food-and-drink/ . Well behaved dogs are welcome in the bar at The Saracens but are not permitted in the restaurants. (We will not be able to eat in the bar).
The walk will as far as is possible avoid fields with livestock and will take approximately 1½ hours, the terrain is generally level with undulations and in some places wet underfoot (some places never really dry out).
If you would like to join us or perhaps just join us for lunch please email nick.banham@outlook.com
Kerstin & I look forward to seeing you.
Nick
