BOUGHTON’S LUCY RAISES THOUSANDS IN EPIC CYCLE RIDE
Lucy Smith from Spinney Close has helped raise over £22,000 for local charity Thomas’s
Fund after cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats on a tandem. Lucy co-founded the
charity, which provides music therapy for children with life-limiting health conditions. First
Covid delayed the ride and then two emergency back operations meant that Lucy’s
husband Tim was unable to partner Lucy. Thankfully, friends stepped in for Tim, who
formed part of the support crew on the trip. Well done Lucy and team
