International Evening with Nick Hewer

Fri, Mar 15th 2013 at 7:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Nick Hewer from "The Apprentice" and "Countdown" will be speaking at the annual dinner, organised by the Club and Northampton Inner Wheel, to raise money for an International Project. This year the chosen charity is "Hope and Homes for Children".

Another highly succesful, International Evening at the Marriot Hotel in Northampton ensured that  a generous donation will be presented to an International Charity.

This year, "Hope & Homes for Children" will benefit, thanks to the efforts of the Project Group's hard work and the support of principal speaker, Nick Hewer, a patron of the Charity whose presence ensured a full house of expectant listeners.

Nick Hewer spoke very eloquently of his experiences working with Hope & Homes in Europe and Africa, painting a moving story of the fantastic work this small charity does to try to provide provide, and support, loving families for children - who otherwise would lead very different and unhappy lives.

He also gave the audience a fascinating insight into his long relationship with Amstrad and Lord Sugar, with some very interesting comments on the making of the "Young Apprentice" programmes.
