Minor sports competition against RC Sleaford
On a lovely evening in May at Croxton Kerrial Village Hall we hosted Sleaford in the next round of games, following our win in the previous round.
We battled it out playing the card game Pairs, Hoopla, Garden size Connect 4, Garden size Jenga and an amusing card game managed by Phil involving walnuts - a must I think for a meeting sometime.
A light supper of pizza slices, salad, cheese crackers, bread, ham, humous, grapes and strawberries, wine, beer and soft drinks was provided by Nicky and Alison, served by Christopher, Janet, Pam, and Alison and enjoyed by all.
Refreshed teams played well resulting in a win for Sleaford, who had been given a bye in the previous round. We can now all relax for another year!
