Domestic Abuse Campaign

by Northamptonshire Talking and Northamptonshire Police

Domestic abuse often increases during the festive period as alcohol consumption rises and financial pressures within families come to the fore.

The Christmas domestic abuse campaign has a two-pronged approach, to not only warn and target perpetrators but also encourage victims not to suffer in silence and to report domestic abuse incidents.

Victims are encouraged to speak out so that action can be taken to safeguard them and ensure they get the help and support they need.

Voice can be contacted on 0300 303 1965 or online www.voicenorthants.org

Voice is one of a number of free and confidential services across the county that can provide support and information to victims. Anyone suffering from domestic abuse should call their local police on 101 or, in an emergency, always call 999.
