WOW We Did It !

Rotarians and Friends of Rotary stepped up to the challenge of walking from Godmanchester to Earith to support the Great Ouse Valley Trusts (GOVT) organised WOW event. We were raising money for GOVT and Rotary's PolioPlus. We walked 14 miles.

WOW We Did It ! -

WOW We Did It ! - We started from Godmanchester with heaps of enthusiasm and energy.

WOW We Did It ! - Our second hub location was Houghton Mill. A quick selfie and onto St Ives.

WOW We Did It ! - The next hub was the Norris Museum in St Ives where lovely cakes and hot drinks recharged our batteries.

WOW We Did It ! - The hub at Holywell was followed with a lovely walk through the village and early signs of walking fatigue ! We bumped into our District Governor Moira Penney and St Ives President Sandra King who were also on the walk.

WOW We Did It ! - We did it !
Thighs and feet were beginning to ache as we approached the final hub at Earith.
Enthusiasm remained high.

WOW We Did It ! - We had earnt our well deserved T-shirts and proudly put them on.
Sponsorship donations are now coming in thick and fast. Thankyou.
