St John's CoE primary School Environmental Award

Our President presented the schools Environmental team with a certificate of achievement.


St John's CoE Primary School Eco group were awarded with a 1st place in the Rotary District 1070 Young Environmentalist Youth Award and an amazing 2nd place in the National competition. They carried out many environmental projects including creating a school Eco code, recycling used pens, organising litter picks at school, supporting a campaign to limit vehcile speeds to 20mph outside the school, creating an Eco garden and planting trees and wildflowers.

more The Huntingdon Eco Fair is being held at The Coneygear Centre this year on Saturday 22nd February between 1:30pm and 4:30pm. Come along and meet us for a discussion about how Rotary is helping the environment.

Successful Santa

more Santa made regular appearances in Huntingdon Town Centre during the run up to Christmas. With the help of his Elves a fantastic £2700 was raised and will be distributed to worthy causes.

more Rotary clubs in our area combined efforts and raised over £2000 in a sponsored walk around Grafham Water.

We Have Been Busy Locally

more Some of our many local Environmental projects have included litter picking, bulb planting, tree planting and helping to build new ponds.

Remembrance Sunday Service 10th November 2024

more Huntingdon and Huntingdon Cromwell Rotary clubs paid their respects and laid wreaths at the Huntingdon Town Council Remembrance parade and service.
