The Rotary Club of Orkney has a foreign coin collection box adjacent to the luggage carousel at Kirkwall Airport where residual coins from foreign holidays can be deposited. These will then be sorted by the club and exchanged for sterling which is then utilised by the club towards its charitable projects, both local and international.
