Young Artist 2026

Ashby de la Zouch Rotary Young Artist competition will be celebrated at Conkers on the 22nd February.

We are looking forward to pupils from Ashby Schools submitting paintings and artwork for this year's competition

The theme of the competition is "Happiness in Nature" which can be  interpreted in many ways. The children's work will be submitted to our local judge Dr Martin Vaughan who has supported the event for many years.

Entrants are junior,  across ages 8-11 , intermediate from 12-14 and thereafter senior. 

Our thanks go to sponsors Conkers again for hosting and providing the prizes for the event and to Martin Vaughan will have the difficult job of selecting the winners.

If you are a budding young artist then make sure you enter the competition and have your entry ready for collection during week commencing 2nd February from your school.

The final will be held at Comon the 27th February
