Bollywood comes to Solihull
Rotary Club of Solihull St Alphege in conjunction with Solihull Soroptomists held a Bollywood Night in aid of Solihull Marie Curie Hospice.
About 60 guests attended the event at Crowne Plaza Hotel on 25th October.
A buffet meal of Indian food was served with poppadums and naan bread. An alternative was available for anyone who didn’t like spicy food.
The entertainment was provided by Sohan Kailey who introduced everyone to the wonders of Bhangra dancing. Most of the guests had dressed up in Indian themed clothing and he managed to get quite a few to take to the dance floor and everyone had a great time.
To finish the evening a raffle was held which raised over £260. The final amount raised will be announced shortly.
