Boxing 2023

Here are a few pictures of our 2023 event

Our 36th annual Boxing Dinner was held on Friday 3rd March 2023.

It was attended by about 200 guests who had a 3 course meal of soup with bread roll and butter followed by Steak and Ale pie with potatoes and vegetables and gravy and then a good selection of cheese and biscuits. This all followed by coffee or tea with mint chocolates. A number of vegan and vegetarian meals were also served.

The Deputy Mayor of Solihull Councillor Joe Tildesley. and his escort were guests of our President Mike Robinson.

The Boxing was provided by Solihull Amateur Boxing Club with bouts against all comers and we were treated to 13 bouts of excellent sport including a bout between two girl boxers who are destined to go on further in the boxing world.
