We were privileged to have Professor Peter Giannoudis visit us at our recent fortnightly meeting & to hear first-hand the story of One Day, the charity which he founded a few years ago.
Leading Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon, Peter Giannoudis realised that surviving is just the start of a sometimes-long road to recovery.
So, in
2014, he &several former patients, set up Day One
Beginning
in Leeds General Hospital, it has become a national network of trauma care.
One Day is suppported entirely by public donations - fundraising@dayonetrauma.org
