Kenilworth Mayor Alan Chalmers Visited Kenilworth Rotary recently

At the end of a recent Awards Evening, the Kenilworth Mayor, Alan Chalmers, joined the Rotary members in a picture.

As part of Kenilworth Rotary's Bid 4 initiative, awards were made during a recent 2025 Rotary meeting.

During a busy evening, Kenilworth Rotary, with the Kenilworth Mayor, Alan Chalmers visiting us, awards were made to a number of Kenilworth primary schools for specific initiatives.

We gave £4162 to Priors Field Primary School for Books for their Reception Class; this project is to enhance pupils' roles in decision making.Some went to enhance book provision for reception and some for a whole school approach to teach the children how to take more responsibility through targeted activities.The head teacher, Mrs Katie  Gane, received the donation accompanied by her deputy head. 

A further award was made to Clinton Primary School of £1000. The Deputy head, Gary Viner, received £1000 for Science equipment for Clinton Primary.

These presentations took place on January 13 th.
