Kenilworth Rotary are proud to announce the launch of their ‘Bid 4 Awards’ initiative. In true ‘Dragons Den’ fashion, we are inviting individuals, schools, charities and other organisations within Kenilworth and surrounding areas to bid for support towards a hands-on community project.
Applicants will submit a bid outlining their proposed project by 30 November 2018. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to the Rotary ‘Bid 4 Awards’ evening to pitch their ideas to a judging panel, in front of an invited audience, on Thursday 17th January 2019 at The Holiday Inn, Kenilworth.
Following the principles of the Rotary 2, People of Action campaign, the aim is to encourage local people to come together to give their time for the benefit the local community and may include ideas such as planting a community garden, establishing a children’s play area, etc. The maximum single award will be up to £3,000 with other awards being made for smaller scale projects. For more information, please visit the Kenilworth Rotary website: www.kenilworthrotary.org.uk.
