ShelterBox and Rotary International are project partners in disaster relief Update - January 2019
Whilst Rotary International is not a first responder organisation, we cannot
but help initiatives such as Shelter Box as they try to confront the human
tragedies resulting from largely natural but sometimes man-made disasters. Over
recent years, we have bought several shelter boxes, most recently in the
aftermath of the Caribbean hurricanes.
it is a litany of suffering which we in UK have difficulty in appreciating.

more World Wide Rotary recognises October 24th each year as End Polio Now Day. Polio is nearly but not yet quite eliminated. Look for the Kenilworth Rotary's Stand in Talisman Square on Thursday 24 October - and in the evening on the facade of The Holiday Inn.
