Our illustrious SAA Bob Glover, continues to keep a beady eye over proceedings at our lunchtime meetings, drawing the attention of miscreants to their various misdemeanors and issuing appropriate penalties. Summary conviction (and modest 'fine') arises from lateness, inappropriate dress code (and dress sense!), poor table manners, high public profile in the previous week (and lack of it!) or anything else which catches Bob's fancy. Top of the 'hit list' is usually the current President who has enough to do there is usually some minor transgression, but Bob can sometimes get so enthusiastic about his work he even fines himself!
There is however a more serious point to all of this - 'fines' raise money for local good causes. Last year Bob raised over
more Kids Out is a national Rotary charity. Clubs arrange a day out for local children with disabilities and their carers.
more Every year the Club sponsors 3 students to attend the RYLA Development Camp.
back The winners of the local Inverness heat were Crown Primary. They were victorious in the Area Round against local winners from Ross-shire and Moray. This qualified them for the Scotland Final in June held in Aberdeen.
