A special lunch meeting

Wed, May 8th 2024 at 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

It was a unique experience of a meeting surrounded by natural flowers at a Garden Center, not too far from Sandbach.

   A special day

outing

Our meeting on 8th May was cunningly turned into a trip to Bridgemere Garden Centre by Dave Lewis and what a lovely day it turned out to be, the sun shone and it was warm and dry for a change and everything in the garden looked good! We had free time to explore the formal gardens or the garden centre for plants etc. or the other shopping experiences that are available – who’s for new shoes? Oh and big containers of Meal Worms, not to mention plants.

We all congregated if the Origins Patisserie at noon for lunch – there was a very good attendance and we all enjoyed our lunches and were well attended by helpful staff. After lunch was “free time” so to speak and after getting something for tea ( very nice pie from the butcher ) and some plants, we ended just popping into Dagfields on the wat home…….but that’s another story.

Thank you Dave for organising the event and to all who attended to make it so much fun!
