We arepleased to announce and celebrate the induction of Carole Davies into the St Helens Rotary family last night. Carole joins us as a valuable addition to our community of service-oriented individuals, embodying the spirit of "Service Above Self."
Carole's membership was proposed by Rotarian Gaynor Winstanley, a testament to the strong connections and camaraderie within our Rotary community. We extend our warmest welcome to Carole, acknowledging her commitment to making a positive impact on our local and global communities.
Carole brings a wealth of experience to our club, having trained as both a teacher and an occupational therapist during her professional career. Her diverse skill set, and background align seamlessly with the ideals of Rotary, and we are confident that she will contribute significantly to our ongoing efforts in community service and humanitarian initiatives.
As stated in our principal motto, "Service Above Self," Carole will play a crucial role in fostering this ideal within our club. The primary objective of St Helens Rotary, is to encourage and nurture a sense of selfless service as the foundation of meaningful and worthwhile endeavours. We are excited to have Carole on board as we collectively strive to make a positive difference in the lives of those in need.

A warm and heartfelt welcome was extended to Carole by our respected Senior Rotarian Colin Black during her induction into Rotary St Helens.
Rotarian Colin Black, exemplified the spirit of camaraderie that defines Rotary St Helens. Colin's presence during this induction ceremony underscored the importance we place on embracing new members and fostering a sense of belonging within our Rotary .
'What We Do' Main Pages:
Rotary St Helens approached Northern asking whether they could adopt Central Station. Northern agreed as they are always seeking for community groups to adopt their stations to help them to become a community station.

Our keynote speaker last night was Robbie Cormie, Operating Department Practitioner (ODP), and is a medical professional who specialises in providing perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Trained to assist in the operating room.

The centre has been leased from St. Helens Council by local people who are all volunteers and have become a not for profit registered charity. We want the centre to be the hub of the community working to meet the residents ever changing need.

Tonight we had a presentation from Dot Prince & Joan Harkinson from the Hargreaves Dementia trust this is a local charity that supports people living with dementia and their Carers.
