Rotary St Helens in partnership with the Council and other key partners is creating a Heritage Trail around this famous Borough of ours. President of Rotary Club of St Helens Paul Winstanley stated “St Helens is steeped in history on how this town of ours became world beaters. By creating a heritage trail around the Borough will increase the community’s awareness; sense of pride of our St Helens Borough and raise young people and older generation’s aspirations, it will also be a benefit to our local economy. The plan is to have the first Heritage Sites in place before the Rugby World Cup in 2022. The first sites include, Totally Wicked Stadium, The Hotties, Cannington Shaw, Parish Church, Friends Meeting House and the Historical Centre of St Helens. This project will really complement the plans the Council have to regenerate our Town Centre, exciting times ahead, watch out more exciting updates in the near future”.
'What We Do' Main Pages:
Rotary St Helens approached Northern asking whether they could adopt Central Station. Northern agreed as they are always seeking for community groups to adopt their stations to help them to become a community station.

Our keynote speaker last night was Robbie Cormie, Operating Department Practitioner (ODP), and is a medical professional who specialises in providing perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Trained to assist in the operating room.

The centre has been leased from St. Helens Council by local people who are all volunteers and have become a not for profit registered charity. We want the centre to be the hub of the community working to meet the residents ever changing need.
