Nantwich Rotary supported the foodbank promotion on 26th October with a 'Double Up' when the club matched donations made at Morrisons store in Nantwich. Pictured are Rotary Club members and a Foodbank volunteer collecting outside the store, and a small part of the donations on the day.
We later received the following information from the Foodbank.:
The total weight of donations came to an impressive 180.54kg, which, at £2.77 per kilogram, is valued at £500.09. Additionally, the cash donations collected reached £193.72, all generously given by the people of Nantwich.
We are deeply grateful for the continued support of the Nantwich Rotary Club and the community at large. Events like this make a real difference for those we serve, and your dedication is truly appreciated.
Thank you once again, and please extend our thanks to all involved.
