Santa Float Collections 2025
Santa visits around the town which raise money for local charities.
The Rotary Club of Nantwich helps Santa meet and greet everyone on his sleigh tours around the streets of Nantwich, and we are grateful for the many donations made during our journey.
This is usually our major fund-raising activity of the year, and all donations are given to local charities and other good causes.
This year we have had 8 collections during the day at M&S, Morrisons and the Town Square, as well as 10 evening collections around Nantwich. These have been well received by the people of Nantwich, and our thanks to those who have helped with setting up the float, and collecting, and especially those who have donated.
The final total for the Christmas collection was £9354, which is the best ever. Money has been distributed, in proportion, to those organisations who have helped, and money is now available from our funds for donations to local charities. Santa has also helped at the Nantwich Market's Christmas event and raised £400 for the Mayor's Charities.
