Christmas Lunch

   56 members, partners and members of the Inner Wheel attended the Annual Christmas Meeting at the Civic Hall to enjoy an excellent Turkey and Christmas Pudding Lunch provided by our  Caterers - Harvey’s.

The President welcomed Steve and Denise Lawson from Nantwich Bookshop as guests.

The highlight of the occasion was the presentation of Paul Harris Fellowships to Tony Coxhill and John Crowe.

Tony joined the Club in January 2006

        Classification  Market Research and Consultancy

        Chaired various Committees including Youth and Community Service

        Reintroduced the Mentoring Service with Brine Lees School

        President 2014/5

        Since his Presidency he has again chaired the Youth Services Committee and this year has been           one of the prime movers in the establishment of Wyche Malbank Rotary Club  2017/8.

 

  John Crowe joined the Club in July 2011

        Has been very active ever since joining, particularly on the International  Committee  which now            seems to be the only one holding regular meetings.  They have raised a lot of money for various            projects in Nepal and also built up a very successful programme of "Lend with Care"

        He has promoted the club extensively at Reaseheath Open Day and runs Car Boot sales on                 Sundays in Crewe and Whitchuch

      He has been a tireless worker keeping the Christmas float working, preparing it for the season and     Towing etc. during it. 

        He has sold surplus eggs from his farm with the proceeds going to International Funds.
