Collection of Old Tools

Nantwich August 30, 2016:  The Rotary Club of Nantwich is on the hunt for old and unwanted tools that are taking up unnecessary space in sheds and garages around the area. Tools such as saws, chisels, anvils, spanners, screwdrivers, planes, hammers, shovels, spades and sewing machines will be collected and sold by the Club at boot sales or through eBay.  All funds raised will be allocated by the International Committee to humanitarian projects in response to natural disasters.

Said Rotarian John Crowe: " There must be people who have unwanted tools in their garages or sheds that they could donate which we can recycle back in to use.  All monies raised will go through the Rotary Club of Nantwich to help those in need who, through no fault of their own, urgently need help. For example in Nepal where, over a year after the devastating earthquake which killed more than 8,000 people, many still do not have running water or adequate accommodation and schools are only slowly being re-built.”
