Handing Out Charity Cheques

Steward:- Peter Mascarenhas

Fiona Williams in accepting a cheque for £250 on behalf of Climb said that in the last year Climb has supported over 7,500 families who are affected by Metabolic Diseases. Demand for our services has continued to grow and it is through donations such as yours that have enabled Climb to continue to provide information and support to many more families.

The Home Start representative was Sandra Tutton said that Home-Start Central Cheshire is a charity which provides support to local families in Central Cheshire who are going through challenging times. They provide home-visiting family support to local families experiencing difficulties. We have a team of dedicated parent volunteers who are carefully selected, recruited and trained and are then matched to a family who has been referred.

Ashley Weaver accepting the cheque on behalf of the Guy Harvey Youth Club stated that previous funding from Connexions has disappeared and they now operate the Youth Club on a more limited budget
