Powis Community Play Area

Just after the COVID "Lockdown" and in consultation with the Local Community Group, St Machar Rotary saw the need to improve recreational facilities for youngsters in the Powis area. We already had a tree planting programme under way along with the provision of bench seating in memory of our late member, Hugh Miller.  We upscaled our fundraising efforts at that point and pulled together a package to install a full scale purpose designed play area. 2021 saw the realisation of the work with the completion of play equipment build and the opening up to the Powis public.
