The Rotary Primary School Quiz (PSQ) competition is organised and promoted by Rotary Clubs.  Initially intended for  primary schools, the competition is now open to teams of four young people of Primary School age. They may be from any group or community organisation including, home educated groups, and other young people's community organisations, for example, RotaKids, community Interact, Scout Groups, Girl Guides, etc.

At St Machar, we work with the seven Primary Schools in our community area, Woodside, Tillydrone, Sunnybank, St Peters, Seaton, Cornhill and Kittybrewster. We hold our own Club heat where the winner goes on to the Area competition with the chance of reaching the Regional Final.
