Wed, Oct 26th 2016 at 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

A presentation on training dogs to assist disabled people.

Today we heard a presentation on behalf of "Dogs for Good" an organisation which trains dogs to assist disabled people.

The talk was given by Linda Healey from DFG who was accompanied by "Hattie" an assisting dog and Hattie's mistress, Zoe Vickers and her mum, Helen. We were told how such dogs are selected and trained to respond to and protect their vulnerable clients in their daily living.
