Our speaker at the January Evening Meeting was Alex Bidolak, the Master Builder from the Lego Discovery Centre at the Trafford Centre. Alex and his colleague, Jonathan Royle, gave a brief history of this well known Danish product and explained about the Discovery Centres for children. Members were then issued with kits of Lego so that they could test their own imagination and practical skills.
Earlier in the evening, Peter Owen was inducted into membership of the club.
