Christmas party

Members Christmas party at Masonic Hall, Shaw


Around sixty people attended the Christmas Party at Shaw Masonic Hall on Tuesday 20th December. We enjoyed an excellent Christmas Dinner and the room was full of conviviality and good cheer. When a section from Oldham Band (Lees) arrived to play a few carols, we sang them with great gusto.

Ossie Millar, as usual, was in charge of the entertainment, and it followed the usual pattern of ancient cracker jokes, seasonal bingo and party games. Ossie was accompanied by his "elves" who ensured that everything was in order for the various activities  It was, as always, an excellent evening.
