Senior Citizens Outing

Senior Citizens Christmas outing to All-in-One Garden Centre.


Our Club tries to arrange two trips a year, and for our Christmas outing members of the club provided transport to take 20 elderly people from Shawside Nursing Home and Laburnum House in Shaw, and Throstle Court sheltered housing in Royton, to the All-in-One Garden Centre in Middleton. The Rotary Club provided Christmas lunch and Father Christmas made a special visit to present each guest with a small gift.
