Dundee heats of Young Musician
Morgan Academy was the venue for the annual Rotary Young Musician competition.
Sponsored by Rotary clubs in the city and organised by Rotary Club of Dundee, the audience at this local heat was entertained by a series of confident and expressive performances covering a range of classical numbers and favourites from the Musicals.
Dr Tim Ridley, Director of Music, Glenalmond College adjudicated and noted how well the young performers had combined their very obvious musical talent with a clear ability to effectively engage with their audience.
Young Instrumentalist winner was Scott Xu with fellow guitarist Tom Dickson runner up.
The Young Vocalist winner was Nathan Ogston with Beth Rieu-Clark and Roman Baradhi joint runners up.
Winners and runners up now advance to the national stage with our very best wishes.
