Free Art Workshops - Mixed Media Workshop

A workshop for young people aged 11-17 years to experiment with different art ideas and techniques.

Think you’re “not an artist”? Think again.

Join the Young Artist workshop led by local artist and previous Head of Art and Design at Whitby School, Chris Gozzard, and discover a whole new side to your creativity.

Whether you think you “can’t draw” or just want to try something different, this mixed media session is all about experimenting, exploring, and having fun with art — your way. You’ll check out the awesome surroundings inside and outside the Pannett, then turn what you find into something totally original using all sorts of materials (yes, even random stuff you pick up nearby!).

Only 10 places available — first come, first served!

No pressure, no rules — just good vibes, cool people, and your creative spark. Come see what you can make.

This free workshop will be held at Pannett Art Gallery and are open to young people living in Whitby & District.
