This is the first time we have entered the young artist competition.
Whilst only a limited number of entries were received they were contrasting in technique.

Whitby School.
Lily Sedman age 16.
Her entry was a mixed media collage in her words representing “without water nothing can survive, Water is the giver of life and my piece celebrates this”.
Skyla Saltmarsh age 16.
Her entry was a computer generated piece. “My art was originally supposed to represent the moon pulling the water in the sea like a dance, but the character slowly drifted away from the idea to then represented both the moon and yourself dancing alongside the water.”

A competition where children can showcase their musical talents in a local round competition. They have the chance to win a place at the regional semi-finals and onward to the national final.
