Over 90 tractors driven by the Easter Ross Young Farmers took to the streets on the evening of the 29th December. They made a spectacular sight decked out with fairy lights, with all fixed lights blazing. A booming of sound from engines and horns accompanied them. Driving from Dingwall Mart through the town and then on to the villages of Contin, Maryburgh, Conon Bridge, Muir of Ord and Beauly they finally came to rest at the Black Isle Showground for well earned refreshments. Large crowds turned out to cheer them on and the charity buckets were well received.
The total collected was over £5000 and the money has been split between the two Rotary Clubs' and the Young Farmers Charity funds.
