The 2026 Wade Walk will be organised by the Dingwall Rotarians as a major part of the Dingwall Town 800- Charter Anniversary Year. Facilities such as certificates, photos and refreshments midway and at the end were available, as will all health and safety measures such as first aid. Walkers and Runners were ab;e to take part in the 14-mile or the 6-mile walk or run. They were taken by bus to whichever starting point they choose.
The event will took place along the route it has always used from Silver Bridge on the Ullapool road (14 Mile) or Blackfriars Wood ,Strathpeffer (6 Mile). The event finished at the Legion Hall in Dingwall.
More than 70 walkers or runners took part in ideal weather conditions and the feedback from everyone was very positive. Everyone praised the organisation and the fecilities available throuhout. Most said that they they will be back next year.
