SANTA's VISIT, CHRISTMAS 2025

Mon, Dec 8th 2025 at 5:30 pm- Sun, Dec 21st 2025 - 5:30 pm

Santa accepted our invitation to visit Dingwall and Conon Bridge in the run-up to Christmas.

Santa visited  Dingwall and Conon Bridge in the days leading up to Christmas.

This event was organised by the MEMBERS OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF DINGWALL.  All of the donations that we collected will be deposited in the Club's charity account.  Although our main aim is to provide that magic moment for the little ones when Santa stops at fixed locations in their village or town to wave and say hello, we are also grateful for any donations we receive. Rest assured that the money you donate will be used throughout the year for very many good local causes, including activities and requests from the children and young people within our area.

The weather was mostly kind to us  during the two weeks he was here, although very cold. But that didn't stop large numbers of children turning out to see and talk to Santa every evening and at Tesco and Lidle.

The children and their parents enjoyed his visit , as did we and certainly Santa did too.

We also took Santa to some schools and nurseries in the area, including Taradale Primary where he was on hand to welcome the children back from their carol singing tour of Muir of Ord..

Thanks are due to Frank Nicol who helped us with the towing duties.  Also to Tesco, Lidl, and the Conon Bridge Co-op for the use of their parking facilities.

To Tesco too for their generous donation of boxes of sweeeties for us to hand out to children -- and I'm sure that Santa sneaked a few for himself too.

Thanks to your generous donations we collected £1250 and this money will ensure that we can support children and youth of our area throughout 2026

Santa's sleigh is one of our community support events and you may well like to be a part of future activities. If so please contact any Rotarian or the contact the Rotarian listed on this page.

From the Dingwall Rotarians to everyone in our area, all the very best for 2026
