Information on making Foundation Grant Applications 2026-27

Dear Rotarians,

We are now fast approaching the Rotary Year end on the 30th of June when we start thinking about the coming years Rotary Foundation Global and District matching grants.

The District Grant Application Process opens on the 1st of June and closes on the 31st of July, Timings and Actions are listed below:

The criteria for qualifying for Grants is as follows:

All Clubs applying for a District or Global Grant must have donated to the Rotary Foundation Annual Fund by the 30th of June for the past 3 consecutive years.

At least one Club member must have either attended the District Assembly Foundation breakout session or completed the Rotary Foundation Learning Centre course Grant Management Recertification.

All outstanding Interim or Final Reports with supporting documents as listed must be submitted by the 31st of August for years 2024/25 and 2025/26.

Attached within the email is the 2026/27 District Grant Application along with Final and Interim Reports.

To support the fantastic projects that we have run over the years with the financial support of Rotary Foundation District and Global Grants we rely upon donations from the Clubs and individual members.

Demand for grants always outstrips the funds available so I am asking you all to review your donations to Foundation, especially the Annual Fund, so far this year the annual fund has received $45,348 which is down by $20,270 against the same period last year and will impact our funding in 3 years' time if we do not improve.

There is a deadline for sending over your donations to RGBI so that they count for this Rotary Year which is the 17th of June 2026 and bank transfers are preferred.

Can you please review your donations to the Annual Fund as soon as possible, I have attached the RGBI Donation form.

Thank you all for your support and please contact me should you need any help or support

Kindest regards

Stephen Ellis
