From Stella in Wales

You never know who you’ll bump into…

e-mail from Stella August 2024:

While in Wales last weekend we stayed at a farm B and B a couple of miles outside Buith Wells, home of the Royal Welsh show ground.

The proprietor's wife on our arrival noticed I was wearing my Rotary Gilet and said her husband was in Buith Wells Rotary Club.  The next morning after breakfast we had the attached photo taken with him.  His name is Richard Davis.

Richard organises the annual Charity Golf day and I believe he said he was the current president as well.

There are in fact 4 people in the picture. Can you see the 4th one?

It's the last native Prince of Wales who died in their village.

He's in the trees behind us.

Thought you would like the picture for our publicity.

Well worth going out and about wearing a Rotary item of clothing.  You never know who you will meet!

We'll leave you to ponder!
