No Club meeting this week

No meeting as we attend the funeral of club member and much loved friend Maggie, who died unexpectedly in February.
Maggie was our secretary. She also managed our Lend with Care donations and End Polio support through crocus planting and Christmas Cards. She was our Foundation Lead and regularly stewarded at local shows. But more than that, she was our friend and is sadly missed.

We have supported a candidate to complete the Senior RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) in 2025.

We have over 100 native English Oak saplings to give away to be planted. If you want some please get in touch! We are hoping to propagate other local species too, by request.

We purchase, plant and sell purple crocus corms to help raise funds for End Polio Now. We also buy End Polio Christmas Cards and support the cause in other ways.

We are running Wrap Up in Devon again this year and collecting good second hand coats that, through working with local partners, go directly to people locally, who struggle to keep warm during the winter months.
