Stewarding at local shows and events
We often help organisers of shows by volunteering to help on gates, run errands and that type of thing. Shows we’ve helped at include the North Devon Show, Devon County Show, South Molton Vintage Rally and the Honiton Show.
Most recently members gave out safety wristbands that families could write their mobile phone numbers on the inside and their children could wear around the showground, so that should they get separated they could be called to be re-united at the Devon County Show. We also staffed the gate at the South Molton Vintage Rally.
At Christmas members stewarded at the Santa Christmas Bike run to Children's Hospice South West!

We are running Wrap Up in Devon again this year and collecting good second hand coats that, through working with local partners, go directly to people locally, who struggle to keep warm during the winter months.

We have supported a candidate to complete the Senior RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) in 2025. This year we supported Lily who won the District Young Musician Vocalist Competition.

We have over 100 native English Oak saplings to give away to be planted. If you want some please get in touch! We are hoping to propagate other local species too, by request.

We purchase, plant and sell purple crocus corms to help raise funds for End Polio Now. We also buy End Polio Christmas Cards and support the cause in other ways.
