This week (18th November)we had a presentation from one of our newest members, telling us about her life and career. Sue Cottingham was born in Guildford but grew up in Ghana, where her father worked as a geologist. Returning to the UK the family lived in St Albans and Sue went on to study Law before becoming a Chartered Accountant in London. Marriage led to a move to Harrogate. Sue worked (and continues to work part-time) as a Financial Director for a company in the drinks business. Now in semi-retirement with a son, a daughter and 4 grandchildren, Sue remains busy with membership of Rotary, Harrogate U3A and Knaresborough Historical Society
